Job summary

Delaware North at American Family Field is hiring Hosts for Barrel Yard Restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Host, you welcome guests, manage the host station, and seat guests as per seating charts and server rotations.

We offer weekly pay, development opportunities, discounts, and flexible schedules. The role requires at least 18 years old and early weekend availability, with shifts that include days and evenings.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a guest service environment is preferred.
• Attentive and detailed oriented.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Capable of performing specified procedures and following instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 4 day availability (10am start times on weekdays and 3-5p start time on weeknights).
• Open on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Review floor plan and reservation book daily; create a seating chart.
• Set up the host station according to the checklist.
• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Seat guests according to the seating chart, server rotation, and guest preference and provide menus.
• Maintain control of seating and wait times.
• Clean and maintain the host station; contribute to cleanliness of dining and bar areas.
• Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
• Answer guest questions regarding service and provide general assistance for guests and employees.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints and notify management.
• Assisting with bussing, clearing, and cleaning tables.
• Assisting with running food as needed.
• Frequently checking bathrooms for cleanliness and restocking supplies.
• Answer restaurant telephone lines during assigned hours of operation.

Delaware North Sportservice is hiringHosts to join our Barrel Yard Restaurant at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests and managing the host station. Barrel Yard Restaurantis open year round.

Pay

$15.00 – $20.00 / hour

Physical requirements

• Visual acuity and hearing ability are sufficient to read the seating chart and communicate with guests.
