Job summary

Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a Barista/Coffee Shop Attendant to craft specialty beverages, assist guests, and maintain inviting displays.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, cashier, or guest-service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn beverage recipes and operate espresso equipment.
• Basic cash-handling and POS skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge guests promptly.
• Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, teas, smoothies, and other assigned beverages according to established recipes.
• Maintain knowledge of available food, beverage, retail, and grab-and-go offerings.
• Take and accurately enter guest orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, room charge, and other approved payments accurately.
• Suggest additional products and appropriate enhancements.
• Maintain attractive and fully stocked displays.
• Monitor freshness, expiration dates, labels, and product rotation.
• Maintain coffee machines, counters, refrigeration, display areas, and guest areas in clean and sanitary condition.
