Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated bartender for Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, a premier resort on the oceanfront in Rio Grande. You will deliver memorable service, greet guests, mix cocktails, and ensure timely beverage service in a fast-paced resort environment.

The role requires knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, precise recipe execution, cash handling, and POS accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately.
• Strong cash-handling and POS skills.
• Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails and beverages according to approved recipes, specifications, portions, and presentation standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, menus, promotions, and featured products.
• Provide recommendations and actively promote premium spirits, wines, signature cocktails, and other appropriate offerings.
• Greet and serve bar guests professionally and efficiently.
• Enter transactions into the POS system and process cash, credit card, room charge, and other approved payments.
• Follow established beverage recipes and portion-control standards without substitutions.
• Maintain bar pars and communicate low inventory promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, equipment, glassware, and work areas.
• Work collaboratively with Barbacks, Servers, and Culinary colleagues.
