The role requires coordinating daily operations, coaching barista staff, managing inventory, handling escalations, and training teammates, while upholding food safety and hospital policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily café operations and workflow management.
• Lead and coach barista staff to ensure quality and service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control.
• Serve as escalation point for customer concerns and service issues.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hospital policies.
• Assist with scheduling, onboarding and training of team members.
• Conduct quality checks on beverages, cleanliness and service standards.
• Support promotions, menu updates and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Retail or Food & Nutrition management on needs.
• Operate cash register/POS accurately and handle transactions courteously.
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain cash drawer.
• Maintain vendor guidelines aligned with entity specifications.
