Job summary

Embassy Suites Scottsdale is seeking a friendly and efficient food & beverage service associate to provide high-quality service in our outlets. You will take orders, describe menu items, upsell, and prepare drinks and pastries while ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.

Utilize the POS system, process payments, and maintain stocked coffee supplies. A high school diploma is required with 1–3 years in food service and Safe Server certification.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• One to three years food service experience preferred.
• One year customer service experience required.
• Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required.
• Grooming standards per Azul Hospitality policy.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and describe menu items.
• Suggest products and look for up-sell opportunities.
• Prepare and serve drinks and pastries following standards.
• Operate a cash register/POS and handle payments.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies; assist guests as needed.
• Follow up on guest inquiries and assist team as required.
