Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Scottsdale seeks a Bartender to deliver outstanding beverage service in our bar, lounge, and outlets. You'll create memorable moments, engage with guests, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will know cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, assist with stock, and work with servers and food/beverage leadership to ensure smooth operations. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and events is expected; TIPS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with guests and making recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of beverages and menus; operate POS systems and handle payments.
• Assist with bar setup, stock replenishment, and opening/closing duties.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and collaborate with F&B leadership.
• Support upselling initiatives and promotions to drive guest engagement.
