Job summary

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a part-time Retail Coffee Shop Barista to deliver warm service, efficiency and product knowledge at our luxury hotel. You will ensure timely, enjoyable experiences for guests while representing brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Barista/F&B experience, POS familiarity, excellent communication, teamwork and the ability to work well under pressure within a premium hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Barista/F&B service experience required.
• Previous POS system experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must hold a valid Maricopa County Food Handlers and Alcohol Certification Awareness card.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Reliable and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists.
• Suggest products to meet sales goals while serving guests.
• Provide quality beverages to brand standards.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain station merchandising, stocking and organization.
• Participate in cleaning tasks and team duties.
• Follow cash handling procedures and Micros POS policies.
• Support store goals for sales and profits.
