Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf is seeking a friendly Barista to craft espresso beverages and serve guests at the Verde River location. You will follow standard recipes, greet guests warmly, and upsell beverages in a fast-paced resort environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 months of related experience, and a valid Food Handlers card. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 months related experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to learn and think quickly.
• Ability to perform math for discounts and percentages.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to prepare beverages using bar equipment while engaging guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests with energy and friendliness.
• Explain the coffee menu and make beverage suggestions.
• Take orders and prepare beverages per standard recipes.
• Serve beverages to guests indoors or on the patio.
• Handle transactions and ensure correct charges and change.
• Maintain inventory and stock coffee bar and gear.
• Keep equipment clean and perform basic maintenance.
• Report needed repairs to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following sanitation standards.
• Assist with team training and support a friendly team environment.
