Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf seeks a Barista to prepare and sell coffee drinks such as espresso, lattes and cappuccinos, following standard recipes. You will greet guests, explain the menu, take orders, and serve beverages indoors or on the patio at the South Metro Denver location.

You will handle transactions, maintain equipment, assist with inventory, and help ensure a clean, safe work environment while supporting a friendly team atmosphere and the resort’s service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcohol, if applicable.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Explain the coffee menu, answer questions, and suggest beverages.
• Take orders and prepare beverages following standard recipes and presentation techniques.
• Serve beverages indoors or on the patio.
• Handle cash and card transactions and provide correct change.
