Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Café Attendant to greet guests, take orders and serve beverages and light food in the on-site cafe and patio. You may be trained as a Barista and will report to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.

Full-time position with a schedule that may include mornings, evenings and weekends. Benefits include medical, dental and life insurance after 60 days, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) participation after 30 days, and eligibility for the 30-day sign-off policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three months related experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol, if applicable.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle discounts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Take food and beverage orders and relay to the kitchen.
• Prepare beverages including coffee drinks and smoothies, following standard recipes.
• Serve food and beverages to guests indoors or on the patio.
• Handle cash and card transactions and return correct change.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with sanitation standards.
