Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Barista to join our team, delivering the Starbucks Experience for guests in our coffee shop area. You will provide prompt service, high-quality beverages and foods, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Key attributes include strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays. Prior barista or food/bev experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior Food and Beverage, Coffee/Barista, Restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English above a basic level.
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests with a warm greeting according to standards.
• Acts with integrity and supports the company culture and mission.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume to keep store operating to standard.
• Delivers legendary customer service and connects with customers’ needs.
• Follows cash handling, safety and security policies to ensure safety.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace and provides quality beverages and food.
