Better Buzz Coffee in Tempe, AZ is seeking friendly baristas to deliver a fast, genuine service and create Buzz Life energy for guests. Food and beverage knowledge plus a positive attitude are essential, with cross-training across café and kitchen stations.

Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred. Base pay starts at $15.15 per hour with added tips averaging around $4.00 hourly, reflecting customer generosity and location dynamics.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service.
• Strong communicator with a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and available nights/weekends/holidays; 22 hours per week minimum.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food following recipe standards.
• Work all café positions, cross-trained across stations and kitchens.
• Keep spaces clean, safe, and guest-ready.
• Produce proper drink and food items to standard recipe specifications.
• Stock ingredients and ensure station readiness.
