WE ARE LOOKING FOR a Full Time Market Barista

Job Summary: We are excited to share that Hyatt Regency Portland has an opportunity for people who love helping people.

Please join our Market team as a Market Barista. The hourly rate is $20.25/hour.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
2. Operate and manage sales on a Point of Sale (POS) system, handling transactions for beverages, retail, and pre-packaged foods.
3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including brewing equipment, counters, and seating areas.
5. Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, syrups, and cups, as needed to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
6. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in customer service preferred.
