Job Summary

Responsible for making and serving coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards, and interacts with customers and staff courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Accurately enter orders into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish condiments, beverages, supplies; maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, utensils.
6. Follow approved recipes and production standards for food prep.
7. Keep display equipment clean during service.
8. Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation after use.
9. Greet customers courteously, ensure satisfaction, relay concerns.
10. Serve efficiently, prevent delays.
11. Understand and explain menu items accurately.
12. Assist in selling techniques, communicate effectively with customers.
13. Merchandise display foods attractively and serve neatly.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
