We are hiring immediately for a full time BARISTA position.

Location: PGS Andover 1 Burtt Road, Andover, MA 01810. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior barista experience in a coffee bar environment is preferred.

Job Summary

Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Follow HACCP guidelines for food quality and safety. Interact courteously with customers and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and utensils.
• Follow recipes and production standards for food prep.
• Keep display equipment clean and attractive.
• Clean workstation before leaving.
• Greet customers courteously, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Serve efficiently and prevent delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Use selling techniques to enhance customer experience.
• Ensure attractive merchandising of display foods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
