We are hiring immediately for a full-time BARISTA position.

Location: Fidel - 900 Salem Street, Smithfield, RI 02917. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedule; days may vary. 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior barista experience and coffee knowledge is preferred.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Range: $20.50 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards. Interacts with customers and employees courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts payments.
3. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintains cleanliness.
4. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
5. Maintains sanitation of equipment and work area.
6. Prepares food following recipes and standards.
7. Keeps display equipment clean and organized.
8. Greets customers courteously and ensures satisfaction.
9. Serves customers efficiently and manages line delays.
10. Explains menu items accurately and promotes sales.
11. Merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
