We are hiring immediately for a full-time BARISTA position.

Location: PGS Andover 1 Burtt Road, Andover, MA 01810. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior barista experience in a coffee bar environment is preferred.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handles food according to HACCP standards, interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Enters orders into POS system; accepts payments.
3. Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
4. Ensures proper presentation and temperature of food and beverages, following HACCP standards.
5. Maintains sanitation of equipment and work area.
6. Prepares food using approved recipes and standards.
7. Keeps display equipment clean and attractive.
8. Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly.
9. Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction.
10. Serves customers efficiently, avoiding delays.
11. Explains menu items accurately and promotes sales techniques.
12. Merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
