Job summary

Food City is seeking team members to create a Starbucks experience for shoppers in Bristol, providing prompt service, quality beverages, and maintaining a clean environment. You will learn to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products and handle a range of Starbucks ingredients while following safety and recipe standards.

Key responsibilities include serving customers, taking orders, and processing transactions with a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience is a plus but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces and oils.
• Follow verbal/written instructions and perform routine tasks with daily interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service to Food City shoppers.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products with quality control.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with customers and associates.
• Engage with customers, offer product information, suggestive selling, and sampling.
• Process cash register transactions using POS system.
• Consistently provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products per recipes.
• Act with integrity and promote Food City and Starbucks culture and values.
• Operate tools and equipment following safety procedures.
• Follow Food City food safety program and handling procedures.
• Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts per attendance policies.
