Job summary

Food City in Vansant, VA is seeking a friendly Starbucks barista to create the Starbucks experience for shoppers by providing prompt service and high-quality beverages in a clean, welcoming environment.

You will take orders, prepare and serve drinks, handle cash transactions with the POS system, follow recipes, and help maintain safety and cleanliness while representing Food City and Starbucks with integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards for beverages.
• Ability to work on-site during scheduled shifts according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service and maintain a clean, welcoming Starbucks environment.
• Take orders, complete them promptly to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products; rotate for quality and safety.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward customers and colleagues.
• Engage customers with product information and suggestive selling.
• Process cash register transactions using the POS system.
• Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for beverages and food.
• Act with integrity and promote Food City and Starbucks culture.
• Follow safety procedures and operate tools and equipment.
• Attend on-site shifts per attendance policies.
