Food City in Virginia is seeking a friendly Starbucks experience associate to provide prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming environment for shoppers. You will take orders, prepare and stock beverages, handle transactions at the POS, upsell products, and uphold Food City and Starbucks standards while maintaining safety and attendance policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with various Starbucks ingredients including various coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• On-site attendance per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service and maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
• Take orders, prepare and stock Starbucks beverages and products.
• Operate POS system to process transactions.
• Offer product information and samples using upselling techniques.
• Adhere to recipe and presentation standards.
