Job summary

Hugo's Lake of the Woods is seeking a friendly Barista to join our team. You will greet customers, take orders, and prepare beverages and light food items with attention to quality and presentation.

As part of a fast-paced cafe, you will manage the cash register, follow recipes, and ensure a clean, welcoming coffee station for guests. Prior experience is not required, but passion for service matters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation and café operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently.
• Prepare and serve beverages to Hugo's Caribou standards.
• Prepare pastries and sandwiches per recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions securely.
