Job summary

Hugo's Lake of the Woods is seeking a friendly cashier to provide excellent customer service and efficiently process transactions at the POS. You will handle cash, assist customers, and maintain a clean checkout area to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires dependability, punctuality, and ability to work independently, with opportunities to support other store areas as needed. Health, dental, vision, and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to handle cash responsibly.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate the POS system to process sales transactions (cash, credit, debit).
• Handle cash, make change accurately, and count the cash register at start of shift.
• Assist customers with product information and locate items in the store.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Follow store policies including security and loss prevention measures.
• Provide support in other areas of the store as needed.
