Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Barista to join the Food and Beverage team. You will greet customers, take orders, and prepare a variety of coffee beverages and light foods in the hotel cafe or coffee shop.

You’ll operate espresso machines and POS systems, ensuring high-quality drinks and friendly, efficient service for guests and staff. This role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to operate espresso machines and POS systems.
• Ability to prepare a variety of beverages and light foods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders with a friendly demeanor.
• Prepare and serve coffee-based drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato) per standards.
• Prepare and serve light food items and maintain food prep areas.
• Handle cash, card transactions, and provide correct change/receipts.
• Maintain clean, organized cafe area and assist with training new baristas.
