Colonial Group seeks a friendly Barista to provide fast, attentive service while crafting high-quality coffee and espresso drinks. You will greet guests, take orders, operate the POS, and help maintain a clean, welcoming café environment.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, and the willingness to learn beverage preparation and food safety procedures. Prior barista experience is a plus but not required; training is provided to ensure consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Take guest orders and accurately operate the POS system.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions according to cash-handling procedures.
• Prepare and serve food items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, counters, equipment, and guest areas.
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, ingredients, food items, and other supplies throughout the shift.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and health procedures.
• Monitor product quality and communicate low inventory or equipment concerns to management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide fast and efficient service.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
