Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and drink recipes is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages and service.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders with a friendly demeanor.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based drinks and teas according to recipes.
• Operate espresso machines and grinders safely and efficiently.
• Prepare light food items and maintain display cases and refrigerators.
• Handle cash, card transactions, and POS duties; upsell to boost sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and prep areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and training for new staff.
