Job summary

LBA Hospitality seeks a Barista to create genuine moments of connection with guests while crafting specialty coffee and tea beverages and food items at the hotel. A clean, sanitized station and clear communication with customers are essential.

The role requires standing for long periods, flexible hours including mornings and weekends, and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines to support a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with chain food and retail outlet preferred.
• Proficient written and verbal English.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash.
• Computer literate to operate property management system (PMS).
• Maintain organization of supplies, storage areas, refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers at all times.
• Promote positive morale and aggressively friendly attitudes.
• Communicate information to the Shift Supervisor and/or Store Manager so the team can create the Third Place environment during each shift.
• Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customers for cues to ensure high quality products and service.
• Follow cash handling and cash register procedures to ensure proper cash management.
• Maintain health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
