Tifa Chocolate & Gelato in North Hollywood is seeking a part-time Barista to craft espresso beverages, serve gelato and pastries, and provide friendly customer service.

The role requires some barista/food service experience, punctuality, and ability to describe menu items, allergens, and pricing. You will handle POS operations, stocking, and opening/closing duties to standard.

Qualifications

• Some prior barista and/or food service experience.
• Ability to arrive to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Ability to accurately describe menu items to customers including ingredients, allergens, and pricing.
• Ability to problem solve and find solutions to challenging questions, requests and interactions.
• Ability to stand for the duration of scheduled work time.
• Ability to move and walk for the duration of scheduled work time, with full use of hands and wrists.
• Ability to lift, carry and move a minimum of 25 lbs. multiple times during scheduled shifts.

Other Job Details

• This is a part-time position, 4-25 hours per week.
• Base pay = $17.25 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Cash and credit card tips are shared with team members and average $5.00 to $6.00 per hour.
