Job summary

Tifa Chocolate & Gelato in Westlake Village is seeking a Gelato Scooper for part-time Front of House. You’ll warmly greet guests, help them enjoy gelato, chocolates and pastries, and assist with coffee orders at the counter. Role offers base pay with tips, a friendly team, and opportunities to develop guest-service skills.

Work hours are 0-25 per week at our Westlake Village location; prior food service is a plus, and you’ll be expected to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and provide great hospitality.

Qualifications

• Some prior food service experience is preferred.
• Ability to arrive at work on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Ability to accurately describe menu items to customers including but not limited to ingredients, allergens, complementary flavors, and pricing.
• Ability to problem solve and find solutions to challenging questions, requests and/or interactions.
• Ability to stand for the duration of scheduled work time.
• Ability to move and walk for the duration of scheduled work time, with full use of hands and wrists.
• Ability to lift, carry and move a minimum of 25 lbs. multiple times during scheduled shifts.

Other job details:

• This is a part-time position, 0-25 hours per week.
• Base pay = $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, based on experience.
• Cash and credit card tips are shared with team members and average $5.00 to $6.00 per hour.
• Team members are scheduled at our Westlake Village location at 30760 Russell Ranch Road Suite A, Westlake Village, CA 91362 or our Agoura Hills location at 28888 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills CA 91301.
