Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino is seeking a Barback to support bars and casino floor drink stations. You will assist bartenders and beverage servers by stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth service for guests.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, stock management, adherence to safety and alcohol-service policies, and participation in pre-shift meetings. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Use of all equipment and Point-Of-Sale programs including cash handling and guest service.
Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety guidelines in a service environment.
Ability to follow written and oral directions from leadership.

Responsibilities

Support bartenders and beverage servers by stocking supplies and cleaning as needed.
Check equipment (ice machine, refrigerators, beer/keg coolers) and report problems.
Maintain bar and casino floor cleanliness and organize supplies using FIFO where applicable.
Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
Attend pre-shift meetings and participate in promotions and service notes.
Complete daily incident and temperature logs as required.
