Job summary

HHM Hospitality seeks a Barback to support bar operations within the hotel, ensuring guest service and sustainability standards are met. You will assist bartenders, stock and replenish supplies, and maintain cleanliness across bar and storage areas while following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking storeroom orders, preparing garnishes, and helping with keg maintenance in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and acknowledge barback-related activities.
• Retrieve orders from storeroom and verify against requisition with storeroom staff.
• Prepare garnishes and fruit, and mix juices per projected business.
• Maintain adequate supplies (straws, napkins, matches) for bar and service area.
• Keep bar, beer lockers, refrigeration and storage areas clean per health codes.
• Scoop ice, transport to service areas, and replenish ice containers.
• Box and save empty liquor bottles and assist with keg taps maintenance.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and Safety/MSDS/OSHA standards.
