Job summary

Augustine Casino is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and maintain stock during shifts. You will assist during service, stock supplies, prepare garnishes, and ensure smooth operation at the bar.

The role requires basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, strong English communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced casino environment. A Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Service certification are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as Barback or similar experience in F&B.
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to recognize, handle and accurately exchange currency (make change).
• Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Service certifications are required.
• High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience in related field.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent Guest Service.
• Adhere to all ABC regulations.
• Ensures cleanliness of the operation and adherence to all State and Federal health codes.
• Report to Bartender on duty at scheduled bar.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of bar.
• Prepare all mixes and garnishes.
• Stock all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products and other necessary items for efficient operation.
• Assist Bartender in preparation of drinks as necessary.
• Fill in for Bartender’s breaks as necessary.
