Job summary

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, TX seeks an F&B Beverage Shift Lead to assist the bartender, deliver friendly service, and keep the beverage area clean and stocked while upholding all applicable laws and regulations.

You will back up bartenders, maintain stocked bars across locations, greet guests by name, ensure proper sanitation, and monitor guest safety and responsible service per policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain current TABC certification.
• Experience in bartending or food and beverage service preferred.
• Must understand and accept risks involved with this position.
• In-depth wine and alcohol beverage knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English both written and oral; Spanish or other language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartender and back up duties to maintain a clean, stocked bar and lounge areas.
• Ensure compliance with tribal, federal and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies.
• Provide friendly guest service and engage guests by name, noting preferences.
• Maintain bar inventory, restock garnishes, condiments and beverages.
• Record all sales accurately in the POS system and handle payments as required.
