Job summary

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Texas is seeking a Bartender Assistant to support the bartender in delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining a clean, stocked beverage area.

The role focuses on adherence to all applicable laws and gaming regulations while engaging guests, restocking supplies, handling purchases in the POS, and keeping the bar area organized and safe for staff and guests throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain current TABC certification.
• Experience in bartending or food and beverage service preferred.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken; Spanish or other languages a plus.
• In-depth wine and alcohol beverage knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by maintaining a clean, stocked beverage area and lounge.
• Ensure compliance with tribal, federal, and gaming laws and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies.
• Back up bartender duties and keep bar areas organized.
• Stock liquor, garnishes, mixes, and supplies; restock as needed.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Record sales in the POS and collect funds for all products sold.
