Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain current TABC certification.
• Bartender Certification or a minimum of one year bartender experience preferred.
• Must be able to understand and accept the risks involved with this position.
• In-depth wine and alcohol beverage knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Spanish or other language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies.
• Provide friendly guest service and respond to questions and concerns.
• Ensure a consistent flow of service to guests and staff.
• Promptly prepare beverages to specification with accuracy using measuring tools.
• Process all sales transactions and present receipts for credit card transactions as requested.
• Monitor bar to ensure timely beverage service.
• Abide by laws and policies pertaining to service of alcoholic beverages and conduct.
• Maintain knowledge about menus, promotions and gaming options.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized bar area and proper sanitation procedures.
• Record all sales in POS and submit end-of-shift receipts.
• Attend required training and promote KLECH core values.
