Job summary

The Hyatt Regency Greenwich, managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks an enthusiastic team member to assist bartenders and servers in delivering outstanding guest service at our Greenwich property. This role supports bar operations, ensures accuracy of orders, and helps maintain a clean, stocked bar area.

You will work a flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to learn hospitality skills, enjoy hotel staff perks, and contribute to a welcoming guest

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to ensure proper delivery amounts and understand portion sizes.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use a knife, glassware, scoop ice, stock items.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and servers in serving guests to ensure positive guest experience.
• Check stock upon delivery and with bartender for completeness.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, refrigeration, and storage areas in line with health codes.
• Restock supplies (stirrers, napkins, matches) for immediate and extended service areas.
• Transport taps and keg maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available for regular shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Flexible schedule including AM/PM/Weekend/Holiday availability.
