Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly and professional restaurant server at Hyatt Regency Greenwich. You will provide guests with exceptional service, greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals with accuracy while following all beer, wine, and liquor policies.

Flexible schedule and weekend/holiday availability required, with opportunities to advance within a resort-style hospitality setting. Join a team focused on guest satisfaction and operate POS systems to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Willingness to pitch in and help coworkers.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Knowledge of table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate POS and input orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during, and after shift for setup and cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner and explain specials.
• Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
• Input orders into POS and inform kitchen of details.
• Deliver orders to guests with condiments and remove items after service.
• Adhere to state and corporate alcohol service requirements.
• Assist with desserts and specialty beverages upon request.
• Close out checks using POS and present to guests.
