Role Description

A Bar Back supports the smooth operation of fast-paced bars by assisting bartenders with cleaning, stocking, and supporting service to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, fun, and quick on their feet.

Responsibilities

• Stock, set up, and break down all bar products before, during, and after service, assisting bartenders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage areas, and clear and reset tables in the bar area.
• Prepare garnishes and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older with knowledge of common drink recipes and spirits.
• Positive attitude, team player, and ready to assist colleagues.
• Effective communication skills with managers, staff, and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
