Essential Job Duties

• Able to work all types of events anywhere on campus
• Able to work independently
• Proper setup and breakdown of bars, including setting up events, working the event, and cleaning up afterwards, such as removing catering items, washing dishes, and restocking supplies
• Communicating effectively with clients and guests as needed
• Providing catering support during downtime
• Ensuring the kitchen area is clean before leaving, including taking out trash, cleaning sinks and counters, sweeping and mopping floors, and managing the dishwasher
• Checking IDs to ensure no minors are served

High performance may lead to renewal or advancement opportunities. NC State Dining provides comprehensive campus food services, employing approximately 1000 temporary and student employees and 165 permanent staff.

This hourly position lasts 10-11 months with a mandatory 32-day break at the end of the term.
