Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is an award-winning airport concessionaire hiring for hospitality roles in a diverse and inclusive retail and dining environment at our airport locations in California. You will work in a fast-paced setting, performing bar and service duties and supporting bartenders and servers during peak periods.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean bar areas, restocking supplies, preparing mixers and garnishes, handling glassware, and using the POS to process orders and payments.

• Clean and set tables, counters and bar areas according to standard.
• Bus tables and load/unload glass washing machines.
• Restock liquor bottles and refill ice bins.
• Prepare mixers, juices and cocktail garnishes for peak periods.
• Use point-of-sale system to place orders, open tabs, and process payments to assist bartenders and servers.
• Ensure bar area is stocked with necessary supplies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

How You Can Make a Difference

• Ensure all tables, counters, and other bar areas are clean and set according to standard.
• Collect empty bottles and glasses.
• Bus tables, load and unload glass washing machines.
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
• Prepare mixers, juices, and cocktail garnishes.
• Change out beer kegs safely, requesting assistance when needed.
• Restock liquor bottles.
• Refill ice bins.
• Remove trash and wipe down drink spills.
• Ensure bar area is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process. Ensure delivered items are stored and secured properly.
• Must go above and beyond for guests and other team members.
• Enthusiastically supports decisions once they have been made by management.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean organized work environment that is free of safety hazards which may include sweeping and mopping.
• Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and regulations including those relating to food safety.
• Knowledgeable about menu items and cocktail recipes, preparing drinks to assist bartenders and servers during peak periods.
• Use point-of-sale system to accurately place orders, open tabs, and process payments to assist bartenders and servers during peak periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
