Job summary

Paradies Lagardère in Palm Springs is hiring passionate individuals for both part-time and full-time roles in our retail and dining environments. You will greet guests, take orders, and provide menu information while delivering first-class experiences to travelers.

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wines, and food with menu knowledge; maintain a clean, stocked bar and accurate POS transactions. Join a team focused on safety, hospitality, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take drink and food orders; provide information about menu items and look for opportunities to upsell.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer and wines, and accompanying food; maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings.
• Accurately process transactions through the point-of-sale system and ensure cash, credit, and debit accuracy.
• Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and well-stocked; handle glassware and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures, manage guests who are intoxicated, and ensure a safe environment for all customers.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner; open/close side work as directed.
• Create a lasting first and last impression whether working with a national brand or iconic local concepts.

• Responds appropriately to customer concerns.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests.
• Ensures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar.
• Stocks and cleans glassware through the operation and maintenance of the glass washer and sanitizer.
• Performs opening and closing side work, as directed.
