Job summary

Cambria Hotel - Boston Logan Airport seeks a Bartender Supervisor to lead bar operations, support the bartending team, and deliver an engaging beverage experience. This role combines bartending expertise with shift leadership, ensuring beverage quality, inventory control, cleanliness, and responsible service.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership behind the bar, coaching staff, and guest engagement, with PM/evening shifts and tips in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending or bar leadership experience.
• Strong cocktail, beer, wine knowledge.
• Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience preferred.
• Strong guest service, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bar operations and provide hands-on support during service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
• Train, coach, and support bartenders and other bar team members.
• Maintain consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and portioning.
• Engage guests, provide beverage recommendations, create a welcoming bar experience.
• Support inventory counts, product organization, requisitions, and beverage usage awareness.
• Monitor bar setup, cleanliness, sanitation, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
• Ensure accurate POS transactions, guest checks, and cash handling.
• Monitor responsible alcohol service per policies and procedures.
• Address guest concerns professionally and involve leadership when needed.
• Coordinate with culinary and front-of-house teams for efficient service flow.
• Maintain Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and policies.
