Job summary

The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a friendly Bartender to deliver engaging bar service to hotel guests and local patrons. You will prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks and ensure accurate transactions while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Primarily evening shifts with weekends and holidays as needed, offering growth opportunities as the property opens. You will work with a dynamic team in a historic renovated building and help establish the bar’s reputation

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and standard bar procedures.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to accuracy and responsible alcohol service.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
• Greet and engage guests while providing friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service
• Explain beverage offerings and make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Accurately enter orders and process guest checks, room charges, credit cards, and cash transactions
• Maintain proper bar setup, stocking levels, garnishes, glassware, and service supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, workstations, and guest-facing areas
• Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service procedures
• Communicate effectively with servers, culinary team members, and supervisors
• Complete opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities
• Assist with inventory organization and notify leadership of low-stock items or product concerns
• Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and seek supervisory assistance when appropriate
• Maintain compliance with Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and all property policies and procedures
