Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Atlanta seeks a Bar Manager to lead daily operations of the restaurant and bar, across breakfast to dinner, including room service. You will interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff while upholding brand standards and SOPs.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices to perform non-repetitive analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, evaluate performance, and manage staff discipline when appropriate.
• Assist with implementation of company programs and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations.
• Forecast, monitor, and report on outlet budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
