Job summary

Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee day-to-day bar and restaurant operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts. You will hire, train and lead staff, ensuring top-tier service and adherence to LSOPs and safety standards.

The role requires hotel/bar operations knowledge, strong supervisory skills and proven decision-making abilities. This is an on-site position with opportunities for bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Requires knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures to perform analytical work.
• Supervision/management communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant and room service operations for breakfast, lunch and dinner as directed by Outlets Manager.
• Direct bar operations and supervise staff performance and discipline when appropriate.
• Interview, hire, train, develop and evaluate staff; retain and motivate associates.
• Assist with program implementations and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations.
• Forecast and monitor budgets to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Respond to customer trends and ensure quality service.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of outlets and equipment.
