Job summary

LOGAN is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure alcohol compliance. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, controlling costs, and driving revenue growth while maintaining a positive work culture.

Responsibilities include staff training, quality control, budgeting, vendor relations, and maintaining health and safety standards across the bar.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant experience
• Front of House & Back of House management experience
• Excellent communication
• Follows direction with focused attention
• Ability to motivate employees to work as a team
• Adheres to Uniform Attire & Appearance standards
• Completes ongoing certifications (LTO, new menu, etc.)
• Food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
• Aptitude for driving sales and guest retention

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers
• Manage and track inventory to ensure adequate stock
• Create a welcoming environment for guests and maximize customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Train and supervise bar staff so they are knowledgeable about product and policies
• Oversee the cleanliness of the bar area while being alert for health hazards
• Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Continuously touching tables and getting to know guests
• Train and develop team members to ensure high standards
• Provide coaching and feedback to foster a positive work environment
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Adhere to ServSafe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards
• Safeguard team and facility with proper policies
• Maintain relationships with vendors for timely deliveries
• Understand budgets and analyze sales data to meet revenue goals
• Oversee cash handling procedures and deposits
• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and scheduling
• Uphold company policies and promote a positive brand image
• Monitor food/beverage prep, presentation, and quality
