Job summary

Remington Hotels’ Phoenix Rise Uptown Hotel seeks a Bar Lead to supervise day-to-day bar operations and mentor staff. You will uphold recipe and presentation standards, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and service policies.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, guest interaction, and accurate cash handling within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Availability across all shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar, hotel, or restaurant.
• At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of liquor prices, recipes and garnishes; familiar with MICROS or POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads pre-shift briefings and assigns bar stations.
• Prepares and serves drinks to recipe standards and monitors consistency.
• Trains and mentors bartenders and barbacks on drinks, procedures and service.
• Monitors par levels, checks deliveries, rotates stock and flags shortages.
• Completes end-of-month inventory for liquor, beer and wine.
• Ensures compliance with alcohol service laws, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Engages with guests, resolves routine issues and escalates major concerns to management.
• Supports opening/closing checklists and daily bar operations.
• Maintains bar supplies and supports cost control measures.
