Job summary

Troon Madeira Ranch in Elk Grove invites a Bar Manager/Lead Bartender to lead beverage service in a premier 55+ resort community. You will craft recipes, manage inventory, cost controls, and train staff while ensuring exceptional hospitality for residents and guests.

The hybrid role blends hands-on bartending with operational leadership, scheduling, and staff coordination, with weekend shifts and a strong focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Certificate or 3–6 months of related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and beverage cost controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains drink recipes and seasonal beverage offerings.
• Maintains inventory levels of beer, liquor, and wine.
• Manages ordering of alcohol and mixers.
• Oversees bar operations for on-site events and occasional off-site catering.
• Supports management with shift lead duties and service flow.
