Troon at Schaffer's Mill in Truckee, CA, is seeking a motivated Bartender to join a hospitality‑focused property. You will stock, mix, and serve beverages, assist with inventory, and ensure compliance with liquor laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year bartending experience or training preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control and inventory.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash control, and restocking.
• Handles checks and cash transactions; uses POS system.
• Reviews banquet schedules and service events.
• Serves catered parties and occasional meals to guests.
• Maintains safe work practices.
