Job summary

The Waiting Room in Valparaiso, IN seeks a General Manager of Waiting Room to lead all day-to-day bar operations. This hands-on, guest-facing role manages staff, drives sales and profitability, controls labor and inventory, and upholds hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in food and beverage, bar or hospitality leadership.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Indiana license to sell/serve alcohol and ServSafe Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all day-to-day operations of the bar.
• Drive financial, operational and guest service performance.
• Hire, train, coach, develop and manage bartenders and line cooks.
• Create and manage weekly schedule; ensure coverage.
• Monitor sales trends and drive revenue growth.
• Assist with bartending and/or kitchen coverage as needed.
• Report to the District Manager and ensure compliance with policies.
