Job Description

The Bar Back will be responsible for maintaining bar stock levels, transporting beverages, preparing requisitions, and assisting bartenders with service. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service to guests.

Job Functions

1. Transport cases of beverages from coolers to the bar and prepare requisitions for stock replenishment.
2. Maintain supplies of ice, glassware, garnishes, and rotate fresh fruit.
3. Clean and organize all bar areas.
4. Restock kegs and coolers with beer and bottled beverages.
5. Empty trash bins and transport waste appropriately.
6. Receive and fulfill beverage orders from guests and staff.
7. Assist in preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
8. Support restaurant personnel in providing excellent service.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
2. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
5. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly.
6. Ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications.
